Recipe FAQ

How do I achieve the fizziness?

Can I use ginger bug instead of kefir grains?

Yes, ginger bug provides similar fermentation and will add a mild spicy note to your soda base.

Is this suitable for vegan diets?

Yes, if sweetened with cane sugar or agave. Avoid honey for a fully vegan drink.

What can I pair this with?

This soda mocktail pairs beautifully with light salads or fresh brunch dishes.
