- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, soak panko breadcrumbs in milk for 2 minutes. Add ground beef, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and arrange on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- While meatballs bake, combine orange cream soda, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and chili powder in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Add baked meatballs to the saucepan and toss to coat in glaze. Simmer 2-3 minutes until glossy and heated through.
- Place a portion of rice in each bento box. Arrange glazed meatballs, steamed broccoli, cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks, and cucumber slices alongside. Garnish with orange wedges if desired.
- Let cool slightly, then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
