# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger until evenly combined.
03 - In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract until mixture is smooth.
04 - Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gently until just incorporated.
05 - Stir in chopped walnuts or pecans and chocolate chips if desired.
