# Directions:
- Slice chicken breasts into thin strips. In a bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken and mix well. Marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to 4 hours refrigerated.
- Prepare two bowls: one with flour, another with panko breadcrumbs. Dredge marinated chicken strips in flour, dip back into buttermilk, then coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat to about 1 inch depth. Fry chicken strips in batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Working in batches, place tortillas into the skillet and press down firmly with a spatula or smaller pan. Cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Shape into taco shells while warm.
- In a bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce if using.
- Fill each smashed tortilla shell with dressed romaine salad. Top with crispy chicken strips, extra Parmesan, cracked black pepper, and optional chopped herbs. Serve immediately.
